Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
